It's all in the luck of the ball...
Quirky yet adorable, Wren Jamison couldn't make a good decision if her life depended on it. When poor choices forced Wren to question her judgment, fate—in the shape of a small black ball—stepped in and took over. That orb became her lifeline. Now, years later, every move she makes revolves around her Fortune Ball. Every. Single. Decision.
Kissing Logan Enders isn't a strange twist of fate—the ball tells her to do it. And she does. After all, the ball is never wrong. The sexy song-writing musician needs Wren to put her trust in him—not in the small screen of a children's game. But just like any modern woman, Wren might prefer the dependability of the toy over the uncertainty of a man. So who will win?

This is the first book I have read by Lisa and I cannot tell
you how much I enjoyed it. I must admit
I was quite skeptical when I saw the blurb, but it only made me that much more
curious. Lucky Ball is cute and sweet
with a tender love story added in the mix.
Since Wren was humiliated in school at a young age, she has
let the plastic black ball dictate her life.
I mean, completely rule her life.
The ball would never fail her, or so she thought until she almost lost
Logan.
Logan is a dreamy musician whose lyrics leave Wren entranced
by the beautiful words he writes. Oh,
what can I say about Logan? He’s dreamy,
sexy, and such a sweetheart. But, I must
say he is one patient man to put up with Wren and her lucky ball. I think that’s one more thing I loved about
him is that I don’t think many men would have put up with her letting the ball
dictate her choices.
“The minute I saw you, you were mine. Everything about you…mine.” - Logan
Wren is cute and quirky and I really enjoyed her
character. So many times, I was giggling
like a little girl because I just loved her.
From the moment she first kisses Logan on a whim to being so indecisive,
she is really a person you couldn’t help but love.
As time passes and she starts to lead her own life, I liked
seeing how much she grew to be the independent woman I wanted to see from
her. Another thing I loved about Logan
is the fact that, as much as he wanted her to lose the ball, he worked it all to
his advantage and handled it so amazing.
I was pleased to see he hung in there and made Wren believe that she
could live without the ball, if she really tried. I think I may have been drooling over Logan
myself because I loved him that much.
“I love you, Wren. I’m going to love you forever.” - Logan
Lucky Ball is sexy, funny, and Logan just wowed me because
he seemed like the perfect guy. Breaking
through her walls she had around her heart wasn’t easy for him but his heart
was already hers. He wanted her from the
beginning and wouldn’t let anything stand in his way. I enjoyed his band mates as well and would
love to see more of them in the future. This 4 star book is a cute and quick
read and one I definitely recommend!
