Can love between two rival clubs survive without someone taking the ultimate fall?
I’ve always loved reading Emily’s books and when I saw she had a new MC book coming out, and with a new author, I was immediately curious about it. This book drew me in from the first chapter and I couldn’t put it down. You have a book with suspense, action, hot as hell bikers, and a hot, hot MC president who will make any woman’s panties melt.
Boz’s dad is the president of the Grim Bastards MC and while visiting the Satan’s Revenge MC, he runs across Trix. She is only a young teenager and even though Boz is married, he knows there is something different about her. She has always been around the club and even though she may be the club princess, she knows the rules of when to speak and when to shut up.
Years later, Boz and Trix cross paths and this time she is over 18 and all bets are off about staying away from her. But, it seems club business gets in the way. By now, he’s president and when he learns something is missing from their club, he immediately blames Hoss, Trix’s dad and all hell breaks loose.
Boz does the only thing he knows to do to get back at Hoss and that’s to hit him where it hurts by taking Trix. She is one feisty woman and doesn’t go down without a fight. Adding to the fact that her best friend Addy was taken as well, she has more to worry about besides just herself. That’s another thing I enjoyed about this book. Addy has the perfect life and doesn’t know anything about biker life so I loved seeing her try to adjust to being kidnapped by a biker club. She really surprised me because she actually fit right in. Dealing with an insane biker like Crank thrown in to threaten their safety and it’s one wild ride for her and Boz. Let me tell you, Crank is one nut job I would have loved to shoot myself. What an ass he was!
Boz and Trix have this intense chemistry that rocks each other’s worlds in more ways than one. He knows he wants her for his woman but knows Hoss could kill him for his actions, too. As Boz finds out who you can and can’t trust, he finds himself doing the last thing he thought would happen, working with Hoss to get to the bottom of what happened.
I loved Trix’s character but I must say I felt so bad for her. She had to choose between the two most important men in her life, her father and the love of her life. Even knowing she is a prisoner of Boz, it doesn’t stop her from falling more and more for him. Boz is one HOT biker and yet with Trix, he is such a sweetheart. Yes, a biker is a sweetheart and I loved that side of him.
“I want you branded. I want my colors on you, so no one can ever take you away.”
Like I said, I have loved Emily’s writing and when I saw that she had a new writer with her, I became intrigued about this MC book. I’m a huge MC fan and this is one new series I’m so excited to get more of. I’m hooked on all of the characters and I’m looking forward to seeing what Emily and Shelley come up with in the next book because I’m dying to read it already. The action and suspense in this book will draw you in from page one and you won’t be able to stop reading it until you have devoured every page. The heat between Boz and Trix have the sheets melting and even I wanted a drink after those hot scenes! Boz is one biker you don’t want to mess with but yet you will still love him in this 5 star book.
