I’ve always been a huge fan of Ilsa Madden-Mills, but I haven’t read Tia Louise before so I was excited to see what these two would come up with. I love a good forbidden romance, and I like that this one was different because its setting is in a newsroom.

Rebecca Fieldstone is a reporter trying to land the job of anchor, but keeps getting the worst stories and can’t seem to come out on top. Her boss has been pushing the job toward Savannah, a girl with little to no experience, making Rebecca’s job even harder.

While trying to get the best stories she can, she buts heads with Cade Hill, a former football player who is a sports anchor. But he’s not just a pretty face; he has a law degree and that makes him even sexier. A hot man with a brain, too? Yes, please!! So, what can I say about Cade? Sex on a stick is much too tame for this man. Incredibly sexy with a foul mouth that will leave you drooling. I loved him immediately!

As Rebecca and Cade get closer and can’t deny their attraction anymore, they take the leap to the bedroom. The sheets are just scorching, and neither of them will ever be the same. But when Rebecca doesn’t get the job and finds out Cade knew, she feels she can never trust him again.

While separated, Cade finds out the real reason she lost her job and does everything he can to get her back into her job and into his life. This woman is so stubborn, but Cade doesn’t give up and that’s another thing I love about him. Rebecca and Cade are perfect in every way. They balance each other out in so many ways.

Ilsa and Tia did an amazing job with this story. There is humor, a foul mouthed sexy hunk of a man, and a sweet love story that will keep you interested from beginning to end. If you’re looking for a sexy office romance, I highly recommend this 4 star book.
