“In true Lani Lynn Vale fashion, this plays like a movie, that has you going through all the feels. Super hot sexy times, major drama, and the perfect amount of danger to make things interesting but not over the top.” - MJ’s Book Blog and Reviews “Son of a Beard is one WILD, ACTION-PACKED RIDE!” - Dani Hodge “If you love a hot bladesmith, MC biker, former SEAL, with killer tattoos and a beard, with a strong and confident woman by his side when he allows, Then go and read this book. You won’t be sorry.” - Alpha Book Club
Son of the Beard is book
three in the Dixie Wardens Rejects MC Series and I am so pulled into these guys
and this MC. It’s not a must to read
each book, but I do feel it’s necessary to understand the characters and fall
in love with these bikers.
Poor Truth and Verity are
brought together through some unusual circumstances. They have both been cheated on by the other’s
ex. What a tangled web that was! But, at their exes’ wedding, they both show
that they won’t be walked on and from then on, the sparks fly between them.
Deciding to still go on her
honeymoon in Vegas, she had no idea that one night with Truth she would end up
married to him and I loved that! There
were some humorous scenes and even though I wouldn’t call it a comedy, it was
so fun to read!
As with all of Lani Lynn’s
books that I have read, I think the quotes before each chapter are so
good! Some are humorous and some will
make you ask ‘what the hell’ but it’s one of my favorite things about her books
because that makes them so different.
With Truth and Verity falling
for each other, along with some action and danger from the club, this book is
one of my favorites of the series. It
was right up my alley with how they met because it couldn’t have been more
perfect. They were each let down by
their ex, but found a beautiful relationship with each other. They make a perfect pair and I couldn’t have
asked for anything better in their story in this 4 star book.
I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.
