ONLY THROUGH BLOOD CAN THE DEEPEST REDEMPTION BE FOUND…
He was born to ascend.
He was destined to lead.
He was never meant to fail.
Prophet Cain lies broken and defeated on the floor of his cell. A cell he has been thrown into by the one person who was supposed to stand by his side until the end. His flesh and blood, his only companion. His beloved twin brother.

He lived with them, rode with them, and then betrayed them. All in the name of a faith he can now feel slipping away from him. Like everything else he once held dear…
But then his isolation is broken. Another prisoner is brought to the cell next to his. A woman fighting her own demons and fears. A woman who Cain understands needs him, as he needs her.
As the connection between them grows, so does Cain’s resolve. He will right the wrongs he has done. He will atone for the evil acts carried out in his name. He will save the one he loves…

5 ++ stars is the only way I know how to start this
review. I had been anxiously awaiting
this book and started it immediately.
I’m a huge fan of this series and of Tillie’s, so once I started it, it
blew me away!! I had no idea if Cain/aka
Rider would even be redeemed in my eyes.
I was so torn about my feelings for him and was so glad to get his book.
I re-read the entire series because I love it so much and
you have to know what happened in book three, Souls Unfractured, because this
book picks up right after that. This is
Cain’s story and what a story it was! It
was heart wrenching, raw, and gritty.
There are so many shocking scenes in this book that I didn’t expect.
As we know, Cain infiltrated the Hangmen MC as Rider and
fell for Mae. Once book three ended, he
was now Prophet Cain, but he just wasn’t feeling like a leader to the people in
The Order. As his twin is trying to help
support him, it seems we find out his true colors. Looks can always be deceiving.
As Cain is suffering in his cell that he was put in to try to
make him repent, he comes across Harmony and finally feels like he belongs to
someone. Their connection is unreal and yet so beautiful. Their pasts are so
heartbreaking, and Harmony has so many secrets that are revealed that I felt my
jaw dropping with shock the more I read.
She is one young woman you won’t forget, and her story plays a critical
part in this book.
A friend asked me if the Hangmen are still a part of this
book and that’s a huge YES! I couldn’t
imagine another book without these hot, sexy, and dangerous bikers. Just when you think things are looking up, of
course danger is approaching.
As the story progresses, you see a beautiful relationship
growing between Cain and Harmony and you see him start to fall in love with
someone. You may think he loved Mae, but
Harmony is his true soul mate. As other
players come to surface, this book continued to shock me. So many times, I felt my heart racing, just
anticipating what was going to happen next.
So many truths come out and at times, even my stomach turned
by some of the actions that took place in the book. But I loved that about it. It was far from boring and so gut wrenching
and heartbreaking. The scenes were real
and just made me cringe at times. I was
happy, sad, angry, and even shed a few tears and that’s what I love in a
book. When you can feel that many
emotions while reading a book, it shows the author is really in touch with her
characters, besides from being so talented.
Not many authors can do that, and it’s another thing I love about
Tillie’s writing. This book deserves
more than 5 stars for me, and I could read a lot more books in this series as
long as Tillie keeps writing them!
