Burn in Hail is book three in the Hail Raisers Series and I just loved it!  You have mystery, secrets, suspense, and a true love story all in one book.  I also must say that the covers are hot as hell and will make you want to read this series.

Tate and Hennessy grew up together, but Tate knew Hennessy was a big no-no.  She was the innocent preacher’s daughter, who he thought was perfect.  Little did he know that she had deep dark secrets of abuse by her father that made her miserable growing up.  But her secrets follow her into her present life and she is still tortured by daddy dearest.

I loved Tate immediately and he is a true bad boy.  Suffering with anger issues and forced into therapy, he had no idea he would come face-to-face with Hennessy again.  It turns out she is his psychologist so they are thrown together and you can tell those feelings go deeper than a doctor/patient relationship.

The more they are together, the closer they get.  Knowing it’s against the rules, it doesn’t stop them.  Feelings and emotions are there and neither can deny that.  Being together only makes them want more and when Tate finds out her secrets, he wants to protect her with everything he has.  It seems her dear old dad has a life she never knew about and what a surprise it was!

I’m a huge fan of Lani Lynn and this series is all about the bad boys and the women they love.  You can’t help but like each character and want to know more.  I think this book is my favorite of the series so far. I’m excited to see what will happen in the future books and I’m ready for Hail!
