Title: Rusty Nail (Uncertain Saints MC #6)
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: Romantic Suspense
He knows that pain makes you stronger…
Wolf isn’t always a good person, and he doesn’t hesitate to say what’s on his mind.
He is who he is, and he doesn’t offer apologies.
He isn’t out to impress anyone, and he doesn’t make excuses for his actions.
She knows that fear makes you braver…
Raven has made some bad decisions, and she’d give anything to go back in time and choose a different path.
The reality is that she can’t go back, and the day Wolf walks into her life, she finally realizes that maybe she doesn’t want to.
Wolf is everything she’s ever wanted, and the exact opposite of what she needs.
They both know heartbreak makes you wiser…
Wolf knows that this is not a good idea. There are a million reasons—all of them bad—telling him exactly why he should stay away.
But when Raven’s nightmares burst out of her dreams and into her reality, he doesn’t have a choice anymore.
He has to protect her, while somehow protecting his battered heart.
I didn’t realize Lani Lynn Vale could make this series any
better, but Wolf is now one of my favorite men of the series. I had been so curious about him from the
first book because we know he is raising a son that isn’t his so I am really
happy to get all of the details behind that.
Each book in the series must be read in order to understand and
appreciate Wolf and the other characters in this book.
Poor Wolf has seen his share of heartbreak. Not only was he left for dead, but his wife,
unborn child, and best friend were murdered.
He has been struggling to pick up the pieces while trying to raise
Nathan and being a single parent is hard enough but with his job keeping him
busy, it’s even harder. I loved seeing
Nathan’s grandmother be a part of this book because you can tell Nathan is
truly loved. He may not be his son, but
Wolf loves him with his whole heart. The
moments between the two and seeing this big bad biker being so tender with him
will leave you breathless.
Raven is another victim of tragedy after she had been
kidnapped and suffered from the hands of a mad man. She has just been existing and trying to move
on, until Wolf. She knows they have this
attraction, but every time they get closer, she always runs away. It seemed like every time they got one step
closer to being together, Raven would run and leave them further apart than
ever.
But, one thing I loved about Wolf is that this man doesn’t
take no for an answer. He knows what he
wants and goes after it, or her. Raven has
no idea who she is dealing with because Wolf’s heart is set on her, and she
doesn’t stand a chance against this rough and tough, but tender hearted man.
“You’re mine just as I’m yours, and I’ll never let you forget that.”
- Wolf
As Raven’s life is threatened even more, Wolf is always
there to save the day. This poor man
goes through so much to keep her safe, and you can really feel him opening up
his heart to her the more you read. As with each book in this series, you are
drawn into each story, and I felt like I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I
read this book in one sitting because I have been so intrigued by Wolf, and
what a great book this was! The heat
between them and their story of love is one you don’t want to miss. I hate to see this series end, but I must say
he was well worth the wait after reading this 4 star book!
