Paid in Full is book five in the Devil’s Due MC series. This book is about Gentry Hawkins aka Deacon and Tempest Adams. Deacon is an ex-SEAL who fought for his country until his mission went bad.  He’s back in the states and now riding with the Devil’s Due MC. He’s used to being wild and free, but there is something about Tempest that he can’t stay away from. 

Tempest is a true hero herself.  She runs a shelter to help women and children.  She is a single mom, and her daughter doesn’t make life easy on her. She is quite the rebel with a sassy mouth.  My heart broke for Tempest at how her daughter acted at times. I just wanted to shake this girl and tell her what a great mom she has.  Tempest is a strong woman that anyone can’t help but love.

When Deacon comes back into town and steps into their lives, he is just what they both need to be able to communicate and move forward.  He tightens their bond while trying to keep them safe from a ghost of their past.  Secrets always come out and Tempest has one hell of a secret that could destroy or kill her and her daughter. When Deacon proves to be their hero, I fell for him myself.  What a sweetheart!  He may be a badass ex-soldier and biker, but he loves these two with all he has.

After realizing he belongs with Tempest, I loved seeing him battle between being on the road with his men or trying to decide if he should plant himself in one place and try to make a life for himself and Tempest. Deacon and Tempest are two characters that you can’t help but like.  They are heroes but in different ways. They are strong characters but their bond strengthens over time and you really want them to get their happily ever after they both need to move on and be together. I love the Devil’s Due MC, and Deacon’s 4 star book will make you fall even more for these bikers!
